I obtained my high school diploma in the scientific stream in 1986 and graduated from the University of Jordan with a Bachelor?s degree in Nursing in 1990. I worked as a registered nurse at the University of Jordan Hospital for three years .After that I appointed as a high school teacher at the Ministry of Education, a position I held for 15 years.
In 2005, I was appointed as a full-time lecturer at Al-Balqa Applied University, Faculty of Salt College. I was granted a scholarship to pursue a Master's degree in Clinical Nursing at the University of Jordan, which I completed in 2009 with a "Very Good" grade. Over the years, I have published several research papers in my area of expertise.
In 2015, I was granted permanent tenure with the rank of Assistant Professor. I have also held several administrative positions , including:
Head of the Faculty of Allied Medical sciences at faculty of Salt College for five years.
Head of the Nursing Department for two years (2021?2022).
Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Nursing for Clinical Training and Scientific Research for the 2022?2023 academic year.
Head of the Midwifery and Neonatal Department for the 2024?2025 academic year at the Faculty of Nursing
