 نبذة عامة:

الدكتور جعفر الزعبي أستاذ مشارك في جامعة البلقاء التطبيقية / كلية الهندسة - الأردن. حصل على شهادة الدكتوراه في هندسة الحاسوب - أمن شبكات الحاسوب من جامعة سوانسي / سوانزي - المملكة المتحدة (2012). درجة الماجستير في الهندسة الكهربائية وهندسة الحاسبات من معهد نيويورك للتكنولوجيا / نيويورك - الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية (2005). ودرجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة الكهربائية تخصص الإلكترونيات والاتصالات من جامعة الهندسة والتكنولوجيا / لاهور - باكستان (2001).
يعمل ويبحث الدكتور جعفر الزعبي في بيئة متعددة ومتداخلة التخصصات تشمل الأمن السيبراني ، والتعلم الآلي ، والتصنيف والكشف عن عمليات الاحتيال الالكتروني ، وإنترنت الأشياء ، وشبكات الاستشعار اللاسلكية ، وأمن الشبكات ، والتشفير. أدت الخبرة البحثية المتراكمة لأكثر من عشر سنوات إلى نشر أكثر من سبعين بحثًا في مجلات عالية التأثير. حاليًا هو عضو رئيسي في IEEE ويعمل كمحرر وعضو مجلس تحرير ومراجع في العديد من المجلات المرموقة في مجال هندسة وعلوم الحاسوب.
الدكتور جعفر الزعبي مُدرج ضمن أفضل 2% من العلماء في العالم وفقًا للقائمة التي أصدرتها جامعة ستانفورد مؤخرًا في عام 2022
