? الدكتور معاوية حداد أستاذ مشارك في جامعة البلقاء التطبيقية، حاصل على درجة الدكتوراه. في التغذية وتكنولوجيا الغذاء في مجالات سلامة الأغذية والأغذية الوظيفية وتطوير المنتجات.
? حصل على الدكتوراه. حصل على درجة البكالوريوس في عام 2011. قام بتدريس مساقات مختلفة في علوم الأغذية والتغذية. تمت ترقيته إلى درجة أستاذ مشارك في أب 2017. في سبتمبر 2018 ، تم تعيين الدكتور معاوية رئيسًا لقسم التغذية وتصنيع الأغذية في كلية الزراعة التكنولوجية في جامعة البلقاء التطبيقية وبقي فيه لغاية أيلول عام 2021. شغل منصب نائب رئيس جمعية أخصائيي التغذية الأردنية JDA بين 2016-2019 ، ونائب رئيس الجمعية الأردنية للتقييم الحسي للأغذية JSSEF لنفس الفترة. وهو رئيس فريق معتمد لدى المجلس الدولي للزيتون IOC-Madrid منذ عام 2017 وحتى الآن. في عام 2021 ، رشحته وزارة الزراعة الاردنية كخبير لدى المجلس الدولي اللزيتون في كيمياء زيت الزيتون. في تشرين الاول عام 2021 ، تم تعيينه مساعدًا لعميد كلية الدراسات العليا وما زال مستمراً حتى الآن.
? نشر الدكتور معاوية أكثر من 45 مقالاً في مجلات علمية محكمة في مجالات تتبع الغذاء ، وسلامة الغذاء ، وعلم الأحياء الدقيقة للأغذية ، وتطوير المنتجات ، وإطالة فترة الصلاحية، وتكنولوجيا الألبان ، والأغذية الوظيفية ، والبروبيوتيك ، والتكنولوجيا الحيوية الغذائية ، مركبات الفينول ومضادات الأكسدة ومضادات الميكروبات والببتيدات الوظيفية وتقييم الوضع التغذوي. الآن لديه كتابان تم نشرهما مؤخرًا في Springer (2021) بعنوان : تتبع الغذاء في الأردن: الآفاق الحالية و التركيب الكيميائي لأغذية أردنية مختارة.
? شارك في مؤتمرات دولية كمقدم لابحاث كاملة في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية واليونان وإسبانيا وهولندا والبرتغال. كما شارك كأستاذ محاضر من خلال ايرازموس بلس +Erasmus في البرتغال - جامعة الجارف - واليونان- جامعة ثيسالي - لطلاب البكالوريوس والدراسات العليا. كما شارك في عدد من المشاريع الأوروبية الممولة للأردن. وهو عضو في جمعيات علمية محلية ودولية مختلفة للأغذية مثل سفير الاردن لمبادرة التنسيق العالمي - GHI - الاوروبية المعنية بسلامة الاغذية ، وممثل جامعة البلقاء في الفدرالية الاوروبية لعلم وتكنولوجيا الغذاء EFFoST ، وعضو في المجموعة العلمية INFOGEST المعنية ب نماذج علمية للهضم في جسم الانسان. و عضو وخبير المجموعة العلمية الاوروبية ISEKI. يعمل الدكتور معاوية في البحث والتدريس والتدريب في جامعة البلقاء التطبيقية وللمؤسسات الحكومية وغير الحكومية.
? قام بتدريس سلامة الأغذية ، علم الأحياء الدقيقة للأغذية ، تكنولوجيا الألبان ، تكنولوجيا الأغذية ، تطوير المنتجات الغذائية ، كيمياء الأغذية و تقييم الوضع التغذوي. امتدت خبرته في البحث والتعليم الجامعي لأكثر من عشرين عامًا.
? أثناء عمله في جامعة البلقاء التطبيقية ، عمل مستشارًا للأغذية في النقابة العامة لتجار المواد الغذائية JFMA من 2003-2005 وعمل في عضوية اللجان الفنية الحكومية المختلفة بما في ذلك جميع اللجان الفنية للغذاء للمواصفات الأردنية ولجان المؤسسة العامة للغذاء والدواء - اللجنة الدائمة لسلامة الغذاء ، ولجنة اعادة الفحوصات المخبرية ، واللجنة العليا للأغذية، ووزارة البيئة - لجنة السلامة الحيوية - .
