Aiman Al Alawin is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering/Faculty of Engineering Technology at Al Balqa Applied University (BAU), Jordan. He is currently the Director of Development and Quality Assurance Center (DQAC) at the university since January 2018. DQAC responsible for local and International Accreditation, as well as the local and international quality assurance certificates.
Al Alawin finished his BSc and master?s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from University of Jordan in 1995 and 1997 respectively. He finished his PhD from Saint Petersburg polytechnic State University/ Industrial thermal power stations in Russian Federation.
Al Alawin was appointed as a member of Al Salt Technical College Council. As well as a member of the University?s studying plan Committee. Dr. Al Alawin is a member of the valves Committee /Jordan Standards and Metrology Organization concerning with preparing and adoption specification for the different types of valves.
Dr. Aiman has been pursuing research related to renewable energy and water desalination as well as the improvement of PV panels performance employing nanofluids. On the other hand, al alawin with his colleagues published a number of articles related to renewable energy education in Engineering school from different points of view. He has published over 20 papers in the form of books, journal articles, and conference papers.
