Research Intersets:
My research interests lie at the intersection of literature, public policy, and societal change, with a particular focus on how cultural narratives shape and reflect national and global policy frameworks. I explore the role of literature in fostering social consciousness, ethical governance, and interdisciplinary discourse, aligning with contemporary policy challenges.
Key areas of my research include:
- Public Policy and Literature ? Examining how literature and storytelling contribute to shaping public awareness, national identity, and policy discourse in diverse cultural contexts.
- Arabic and World Literature ? Investigating the global impact of Arabic literary traditions and their dialogue with world literature, with an emphasis on cross-cultural exchange and identity formation.
- Climate, Population, and Literature ? Analyzing how environmental and demographic changes are reflected in literary narratives and their implications for sustainable policy development.
- Social and Philosophical Issues in Literature ? Exploring the representation of governance, justice, human rights, and philosophical thought in literature, and their influence on shaping political and social paradigms.
Through these research avenues, I aim to bridge academia and policy-making, fostering a deeper understanding of how literature and culture contribute to global development strategies.
