Dr. Amaal Abdullah Al Masri is an Associate Professor of English Language Curricula and Teaching Methods al Al-Balqa Applied University. She was born in Tafilah, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and graduated with a BA in English Language from Mutah University, then obtained two MA degrees in English Language Teaching Methods and another MA in English Literature from Mutah and Jadara Universities, respectively, and concluded her studies with a PhD from Yarmouk University.
Dr. Amaal has extensive professional experience in the field of higher education and teaching, and worked as an English language teacher in the Jordanian Ministry of Education for more than ten years, and held administrative duties as a school principal for 11 years. She founded and headed the Morganite Institute for Translation, Publishing and International Conferences in Jordan, and participated in organizing international conferences in the United States and Europe.
On the research front, Dr. Amaal has published many research papers in prestigious scientific journals classified within Scopus, which addressed various topics such as developing educational strategies, the impact of technology on English language learning, and the challenges of e-learning during the Corona pandemic. In addition, her research focused on improving students' reading and writing skills, and developing innovative educational curricula using virtual reality and blended learning.
In addition to her academic career, Dr. Amaal contributes to serving the community by giving awareness lectures to young people, encouraging them to start their own projects, in addition to organizing volunteer activities aimed at preserving the environment and supporting needy families in remote areas. She is distinguished by her scientific and societal contributions that combine education, research, and community service.
