Dr. Shadia Hasan Al-Adwan is a professor specializing in the philosophy of Arab Islamic history. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Jordan in 1999. She began her academic career as a faculty member at the University of Jordan between 2001 and 2003. Since 2003, she has been working at Al-Balqa Applied University, where she continues to serve.
Dr. Shadia has published numerous academic papers focusing on the history of Jordan and the Arab region. Her research is distinguished by its reliance on official governmental sources, such as court records, ministries, and government institutions. She has also contributed to the review and evaluation of many historical studies through her membership in the Scientific Research Committee at Al-Balqa Applied University and the Jordanian Historians Committee.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Dr. Shadia has actively participated in various social activities aimed at supporting Jordanian women and was one of the active members of the Jordanian Women's Development Association.
