My research interests lie at the intersection of nutrition, cancer biology, and patient-centered care. By delving into these research areas, I aspire to contribute to the development of evidence-based, personalized nutritional interventions that empower individuals to actively participate in their cancer treatment, ultimately improving their prognosis and overall quality of life. I believe tailoring dietary plans based on an individual's unique genetic makeup, tumor characteristics, treatment modalities, and lifestyle factors can significantly optimize treatment outcomes and mitigate treatment-related side effects. This involves understanding how different diets can synergize with conventional treatments such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and radiation therapy to enhance their efficacy as well as reduce their toxicities.
