Ishraq Obeidat is an instructor of English language and literature at Al-Balqa Applied University, Irbid University College, Department of English Language and Literature. She holds an M.A. degree in Translation from Yarmouk University, 2005. Her research interests include translation, advertising, applied linguistics and major language skills. She was bestowed honors and awards for achieving the fifth of the top ten students in the General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi) in the Literary Stream in Jordan and for being on the Honor Roll during her academic study.
