I received my B.Sc. degree in Communications and Software Engineering from Al-Balqa' Applied University/ Al-Huson University College, Irbid, Jordan in 2008, with a full scholarship from the Ministry of Higher Education, Jordan. I got a 94% percentile ranking in the nationwide University Achievement Test in Jordan. In 2013, I received an M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering majoring in Wireless Communications from Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), Irbid, Jordan, under the supervision of Prof. Mansour I. Abbadi. My M.Sc. dissertation was in Optical Fiber Communications which was directed towards using an optical filter to compensate for fiber dispersion. During my graduate studies, I worked as a teaching assistant in the Electrical Engineering department at JUST University for three years. At the end of Spring 2020 semester, I received my Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Prof. Richard D. Gitlin, Distinguished University Professor at the University of South Florida, Tampa-Florida, as a member of the Innovations in Wireless Information Networking (iWINLAB) group. My research interests include 5G and B5G wireless systems and networking protocols, multiple access techniques for 5G wireless networks (emphasis on Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access -NOMA), and the Internet of Things (IoT).
