Prof. Al-Weshah is a Professor of Marketing with minor area in E-Marketing Strategies at Al-Balqa Applied University- Salt-Jordan, a member of editorial board of Jordan journal of Business Administration (JJBA), and a main Judge for Kotler Award in Marketing in Jordan. Prof. Al-Weshah is a leading professional with diverse experience in consultation, training, research, and teaching in fields of marketing, management, and socio-economic studies for both local and international projects. He has a solid background in economics, business administration and marketing with PhD in marketing from the University of Wales in UK. Prof. Al-Weshah worked as a visiting Professor of Marketing at Arab Open University-Amman between 2022-2023. Prof. Al-Weshah held a variety of roles, including a Professor of Marketing with minor area in E-Marketing Strategies, CEO for Al-Balqa Electronic Academy (LLC) between 2021-2022, Director of Jordanian- Korean Center for ICT- Information Access Center at Al-Balqa Applied University-Jordan between 2020 and 2021, Vice Dean of Scientific Research at Al-Balqa Applied University between 2017 and 2020, and a Head of Marketing Department at the Faculty of Business, Al-Balqa Applied University- Jordan between 2015 and 2017. As a part-time lecturer, he has taught for graduate and undergraduate programs in Edinburgh Business School (EBS) in Jordan, the University of Jordan, Yarmouk University, German Jordanian University, Princess Sumaya University for Technology, Petra University, and Luminus Education Group. Prof. Al-Weshah served as visiting professor for two semesters in the joint MBA program between Florida Atlantic University and Al-Baha University in Saudi Arabia.
Prof. Al-Weshah is outstanding researcher in areas that serve the needs of local and international business community. He has published more than 45 research papers in the field of marketing and management in international refereed journals with more than 1700 citations for his research publications with an H-index of 20. His research interests are marketing information, bank marketing, competitive intelligences and strategy
