Islam Abu Sharieh is an academic and researcher specializing in E-Marketing and Social Media Marketing, with over 13 years of academic and consulting experience in digital marketing. He is currently a Lecturer at Al-Balqa Applied University ? Amman University College for Financial and Administrative Sciences. His expertise lies in digital marketing strategies, market analysis, and online marketing campaign management, with a strong focus on data-driven marketing solutions and consumer behavior analysis in digital environments.
He holds a Master of Science in Marketing with a specialization in Social Media Marketing from the University of South Wales, UK (2016). His thesis, titled "Evaluating the Impact of Social Media Marketing on Jordan?s Tourism Industry: A Case Study of Mount Nebo", explored the role of digital platforms in promoting and revitalizing the tourism sector by engaging with customers and marketing tourist destinations effectively.
He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from King Hussein Bin Talal University, Jordan (2012), where he graduated as the top-ranked student in the Marketing Department. His graduation project, "The Impact of Social Marketing and Application of Social Responsibility in Enhancing the Quality of Education Services: A Case Study on Private Schools and Cultural Centers in Ma?an City", examined the relationship between socially responsible marketing practices and their impact on the quality of education in private institutions.
His research interests include E-Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Tourism Marketing, and Corporate Social Responsibility, in addition to the application of Advergames and Gamification in the tourism industry. Through his research, he aims to explore the latest trends in digital marketing, focusing on improving customer experiences and strengthening brands through innovative marketing strategies and digital transformation.
