Dr. Issam Aldowkat holds a Ph.D. in English Literature and Criticism, which he obtained in 2018 from the United States of America. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of English Language at Al-Balqa Applied University, in addition to serving as Director of the Language Center at the University. He previously served as Chair of the Department of English Language and Literature for six years.
Dr. Aldowkat teaches a variety of courses in English language literature and literary criticism. His research interests focus on literary and critical theories, postcolonial literature, Orientalism, and English literature of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
