OverView
Khetam Shraideh is an Assistant Professor of Translation in the Department of English Language and Literature at Al-Balqa Applied University, Jordan. She served as the Director of the Language Center and the International Projects Department. Shraideh holds a Ph.D. in Translation Studies from the State University of New York at Binghamton (2021), an M.A. in Translation and Interpretation from the University of Jordan (2015), and a B.A. in English Language and Literature from Yarmouk University (2008).

From 2019 to 2021, Shraideh taught six advanced translation courses at SUNY Binghamton, including "Literary and Non-Literary Translation," "Translating Humor", and "Women in Media". She also served as a graduate and administrative assistant, contributing to international student support and fostering global academic engagement. Between 2015 and 2016, she lectured on English language and translation at three Jordanian institutions.

Shraideh has received two Excellence Awards in Translation (2020) and is a certified professional translator. Her interdisciplinary interests include Translation Studies, World Literature, Post-Colonial Studies, and Women's Studies, with a focus on bridging theory and practice in translation.
