Dr. Mehaysen Al-Mahasneh carries the rank of Associate Professor in Petroleum engineering. Since 2013, he works at the Chemical Engineering Department/Al-Balqa Applied University (BAU)/Jordan. In 1997, Dr. Al-Mahasneh was promoted to the associate professor rank. He occupied the Dean Assistant Position at BAU for one year In 2014 and He occupied the Head of Chemical Engineering Department several times. Dr. Al-Mahasneh got his PhD degree in Stimulation of oil wells by thermal methods from Ploiesti University, Romania in 1989. Dr. Al-Mahasneh obtained MSc degrees from Ploiesti University, Romania in 1980. Dr. Al-Mahasneh worked at Natural Resources Authority (NRA) from 1981 to 1997., He learned at, worked, and gave His wide experience in Petroleum Engineering career. His native language is Arabic, and he speaks both English and Romanian. The research interests of Dr. Al-Mahasneh are in the fields of Process Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, Petroleum Exploration, Enhanced oil Recovery, Gas, Drilling, Petroleum, Well Drilling Technology, Petroleum Geochemistry, Groundwater. He has published, as a single author or with other researchers many articles in international journals and conferences that are well-known in the fields of Petroleum engineering. Furthermore, Dr. Al-Mahasneh is a reviewer for many petroleum engineering journals of high impact factors. Dr. Al-Mahasneh teaches various vital courses in Petroleum engineering such as Drilling Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Completion and work over wells, Reservoir Engineering, Material Science, Chemical Industries, Water Technology, Safety and health. Dr. Al-Mahasneh published two books with Titles " Drilling Engineering" , "Petroleum Engineering " in 2009,2014; respectively.
