Dr. Maha Al-Rajabi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Al-Balqa Applied University. She earned her PhD in Chemical and Process Engineering from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, specializing in thermo-responsive hydrogels for drug delivery. With over nine years of industrial experience in pharmaceutical companies, Dr. Maha has expertise in validation, quality assurance, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). She also has significant research experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Sharjah, focusing on capacitive deionization, nanofiber-based oil-water separation, and water desalination technologies. Additionally, she served as a Senior Lecturer at Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), where she taught chemical engineering courses and coordinated curriculum development. Her research encompasses drug delivery systems, advanced water treatment, hydrogels, oil-water separation, and sustainable desalination technologies, contributing extensively through publications, patents, and international collaborations.
