Majed Omar Dwairi, born on December 10, 1968, in Jordan, earned his Ph.D. in Communication Systems from the State University of Intellectual Technologies and Communications in Odessa, Ukraine, in 1998, following his earlier degree in Multichannel Communication from the same institution in 1994. He is currently a full professor in the Electrical Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering Technology at Al-Balqa Applied University in Amman, Jordan. His research interests span MIMO microstrip antennas, microstrip antenna design for 5G applications, digital communications, signal and image processing, and optical communication networks. He is also an active IEEE member, serving as the vice chair of the AESS Jordan Section Chapter, and is affiliated with AESS, ComSoc, AP-S, and the SIGHT Society.
