Dr. Marwan Altarawneh is currently an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Aqaba University College, Al-Balqa Applied University, Jordan . He obtained his PhD in Financial Accounting from Universiti Utara Malaysia UUM, Malaysia, after receiving a Master of Science in International Accounting from Universiti Utara Malaysia UUM. His academic journey began with a Bachelor degree in Accounting from Mutah University, Jordan.

Dr. Marwan Altarawneh is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Al-Balqa Applied University, Aqaba University College. He obtained his PhD in Financial Accounting from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), Malaysia, after receiving a Master of Science in International Accounting from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). His academic journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Mutah University, Jordan.
His research interests include financial accounting and reporting, corporate governance, working capital and financial performance, environmental, social, governance (ESG), earnings management, ownership structure, financial restatements, and auditing. He has published numerous research papers in globally recognized, Scopus-indexed journals.
