After finishing my residency and becoming a board-certified neurosurgeon, I pursued my interest in pediatric neurosurgery at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto. I spent two years in training at this hospital under the supervision of five world leaders? pediatric neurosurgeons. MRI-guided high-frequency US research was one of the projects that I worked on. After that, I did a neurosurgery fellowship in brain tumors at the University of Toronto at the Arthur and Sonia Labatt Brain Tumor Research Centre (BTRC) for one year, during which I did several clinical and basic science research studies. Then, I had the privilege to get training in skull base surgery/endoscopic surgery and neuro-oncology at Toronto Western Hospital under world-renowned neurosurgeons in that field.
At the University of Calgary, I got specifically trained for peripheral nerve surgery, and at Dalhousie University I did training in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery.

Research Intersets:
I am interested in conducting research in the following realms: Pediatric neurosurgery skull base Surgery Neuro oncology- Endoscopic Endonasal Surgery Cell Biology Peripheral Nerves Spine surgery
