The first areas of my research interest bioremediation and fate of recalcitrant compounds in the underground and marine ecosystems. This includes identification of potential hazard compound to environment, study biodegradation pathways of potential compounds, identify the signature metabolites, and detect the microbial community responsible for degradation.
The second area of my research interests includes is minoring and assessment of microbial activities to predict the fate of recalcitrant hydrocarbons in oil affected environments, and wastewater treatment planet. I am particularly interested in developing molecular microbiology tools for in situ assessment and monitoring the fate of recalcitrant pollutants on the living ecosystems

Research Intersets:
My research interests in Environmental Sciences focus on study hydrocarbons biodegradation, wastewater treatment, and methane emission by bacteria and the impact of that on global warming and climate changes and environment health.
