I am a dedicated medical laboratory scientist specializing in medical immunology, with a focus on clinical microbiology, viral infections, and immune response evaluation. My academic journey began at the Jordan University of Science and Technology, where I earned both my Bachelor?s and Master?s degrees in Medical Laboratory Sciences. I went on to complete my PhD at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Cluj-Napoca, where I delved into immunological research.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of contributing to both the academic and clinical sides of medical science. In my role as a scientific director at Al-Basheer Hospital?s immunology and serology lab, I led initiatives to improve diagnostic services, implement infection control practices, and enhance quality assurance within laboratory settings. My research focuses on the immunological responses in patients with chronic infections, particularly in hemodialysis populations, where I have explored the prevalence of non-organ specific autoantibodies and the impact of hepatitis C virus (HCV) on immune modulation.

Today, as an Assistant Professor at Al-Balqa' Applied University, I continue to combine my academic expertise with my clinical experience, teaching and mentoring the next generation of medical laboratory scientists. My work is driven by a commitment to advancing healthcare practices, optimizing infection control, and understanding immune responses in complex clinical settings.

Research Intersets:
Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) and Immunology:
? Studies on the prevalence of HCV and its immunological impact, particularly in hemodialysis patients.
? Investigations into non-organ specific auto-antibodies and anti-extractable nuclear antigen (ENA) antibodies in HCV patients.
? Immunological Responses and Vaccination:
? Evaluation of immune responses to the Hepatitis B vaccine, particularly in healthcare providers.
? Medical Laboratory and Infection Control:
? Contributions to infection control strategies and development of serology and virology labs.
? Training and quality assurance in medical laboratories.
