My research interests lie in food safety, food microbiology, and food quality, with a special focus on understanding how various factors influence the safety and quality of food products. I have published multiple studies exploring the use of natural additives and microbial approaches to enhance food safety, as well as investigating the factors affecting dietary knowledge and practices among Jordanian communities.

My research has included studies on the impact of household practices on foodborne illnesses, analyzing the physiochemical, microbiological, and sensory properties of dairy and baked products, and evaluating the role of medicinal plants as natural antimicrobial agents. Additionally, I have supervised student research projects focusing on developing and analyzing innovative food products in terms of quality and sensory acceptance.

My goal is to contribute to the enhancement of food quality and safety locally and globally through research and practical applications, while raising community awareness about the importance of safe and healthy food.
