OverView
Othman Khalid Al-Shboul is an assistant professor at Al-Balqa Applied University, Jordan. He holds a PhD in applied linguistics from the University of Memphis, USA. He has 14 years of teaching experience at different universities in the United States, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
His research interests lie in the areas of cognitive linguistics, sociolinguistics and critical discourse analysis. His current publications address topics such as conceptual metaphor, ecolinguistics and persuasion.
