My research interests revolve around the intersection of public health, mental health, refugee health, medical education, tobacco use, health awareness, and epidemiology. I am passionate about investigating the complex dynamics and disparities in these areas and exploring how they can be addressed to improve the well-being of vulnerable populations.
Specifically, I am interested in understanding the mental health challenges faced by refugee populations and the impact of tobacco use on their overall health outcomes. By employing epidemiological methodologies, I aim to identify the underlying factors contributing to mental health disparities among refugees and explore effective strategies for intervention and prevention. I also seek to assess the role of medical education in enhancing health awareness among refugees and improving mental health outcomes.
I have developed collaboration with community centers, healthcare facilities, and educational institutions to address culturally sensitive interventions and curricula advances to benefit refugee populations and promote mental well-being during pandemics.
