Zaid Alkouri is an Assistant Professor at Al- Balqa' Applied University. He obtained his doctorate degree in Curriculum & Instruction with a focus on Early Childhood Education from the University of Northern Iowa, USA. Prior to coming to the BAU, he worked at various universities in the United States and Jordan, including the University of Northern Iowa and Jerash University. His research areas include early childhood development, early childhood education, cognitive development, psychology of the child, STEM areas during the childhood years, and teacher professional development
