Professor Shahera T. Zaitoun is a teacher and researcher of Apidology and Economic Entomology at the Department of Plant Production and Protection, Faculty of Agricultural Technology at Al-Balqa Applied University for 25 years. She received a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in Plant Protection and Ph.D. in Apiculture from Hohenheim University in Stuttgart. Her research in the areas of Honeybees Breeding and Sustainable Apiculture. She was honored as a distinguished researcher, as a distinguished expert, as winner of Philadelphia University prize for the best written book in Technology and recently as a distinguished women researcher for 2021.
